New opportunity based in Billerica MA for a Financial Analyst to join the Bruker Financial Planning and Analysis Team. Reporting directly to the Corporate G&A Controller, this role supports business partnering with the Corporate G&A business functions (Corporate HQ, Global IT, Regional Finance) and related financial management activities, including monthly/quarterly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, investment analysis, spending controls and internal controls and audit. Also assures compliance with relevant policies and controls. Provides high quality financial reporting and business insights. * Drive monthly closing and reporting process for G&A business functions including compiling cost information, reviewing details, understanding variances, investigating discrepancies and working with regional accounting teams to make necessary adjustments * Support the development of the annual business plan and quarterly forecast processes for operating and capital expenditures. * Assist with development of long-term strategic plan including allocation of resources and alignment of initiatives with business objectives * Establish business partnering relationship with key managers in Corporate G&A organizations and effectively support the IT Project Leaders regarding overall alignment of initiatives and local budgets * Assist Corporate G&A management teams with day-to-day finance support needs * Support analysis of G&A investments and preparation of related business case materials * Support continuous improvement in reporting and planning processes for Corporate G&A organizations: * Identify and implement best practices across functions including improvements to maximize insights and accuracy for all phases of the planning cycle: Forecast, Business Plan, Strategic Plan * Ensure effective project and expenditure oversight including the development of appropriate analytics and performance metrics as well as the reporting tools and processes to ensure appropriate visibility and monitoring of performance * Provide finance support to Project Leaders of significant IT transformation projects (SERI) * Supporting internal controls and audit requests * Perform other duties as required. * Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, Master Degree desired. * Minimum 2 years of progressive financial reporting and control and corporate financial planning and analysis work experience within a complex, multi-entity multi-national environment * Experience with a Tier 1 ERP (SAP preferred) * Strong systems / technology aptitude including a working knowledge of performance management, data modeling, financial analysis and reporting tools (experience with BPC and/or Hyperion strongly preferred) * Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Suite products * Strong understanding of systems, analytical tools, financial modeling, and data management * Polished communication, presentation and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to present clear, concise, and effective presentations to management when necessary * Proven ability to deliver insightful and credible analysis to support decisions * Effective organizational and project management skills in a large complex multinational organization * Proven ability to juggle priorities and deliverables without sacrificing quality and timeliness * Professional maturity and confidence with ability to operate independently and collaborate within a team * Intellectually curious with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement * High energy self-starter with history of successful accomplishments * Proven flexibility with ability to prioritize and manage differing time constraints * U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required * Ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel * Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state or governing location * May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
