The Technology QA and Testing Coordinator Advocates quality and testing with the product release cycle, participates in resource planning/management of the testing effort, defines the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery cycle, and will apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics for the testing team, and oversees the planning, deployment, and management of testing efforts for all technical engagements managed by TSG.
The Technology QA and Testing Coordinator is also responsible for guaranteeing a level of quality for the end client, and to support the software development team to identify problems early in the development process.
This role is one that is focused on creating a quality deliverable while working with other technology teams to convert the requirements and design documents into a set of testing cases and scripts, and will supervise the execution of those test cases and scripts and facilitates testing of components to ensure systems, applications and infrastructures are operating as designed, and will actively identify and recommend areas of automation to provide solutions to improve the QA process.
The Technology QA and Testing Coordinator will need to possess the ability to quickly learn modern technologies and incorporate them into a QA framework, and have the ability to work within, and to support the Agile movement and Scrum software development methodology. The work environment includes hospital areas and office settings.

Education: Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Minimum of five years? IT experience required. Minimum three years? experience in software quality assurance/testing preferred. Must have proven experience developing/implementing test plans and facilitating organizational change around the adoption of formalized testing methodology in software development and application configuration realms.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Valid Virginia drivers' license and dependable transportation. ITIL Foundation Certification. Additionally, the following certifications are preferred, but not required:
Other Minimum Qualifications: Good organizational skills, analytical, dependable, detail oriented, interpersonal skills, and understanding of the English language (both written and oral). Knowledge and skills in data management/information systems required, knowledge of quality improvement and statistical analysis preferred. Ability to plan and organize work to meet time requirements. Demonstrated ability to work on team projects. Must be proficient with MS Office productivity products, as well as MS Project and Visio.
