Connection has a fantastic CONTRACT opportunity through our technical staffing division in Durham, North Carolina. We are looking for a talented Service Desk Technician who is open to taking on tier 2 responsibilities in a high pace environment.This is an open-ended contract opportunity working full time hours during the regular business day.

·You have 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·Provide next level support that the help desk cannot complete – often deskside, hardware, Active Directory, Network Connectivity or Active Directory related.

·Perform some troubleshooting within the server environment.

·Complete basic IT procurement support by considering department needs.

·Provide end user support when necessary on various issues including IT equipment troubleshooting.


·3+ years of experience in an advanced desktop or service desk role.

·Certifications or degrees are a plus.

·Higher level skills working within Windows Server and Active Directory.

·Strong knowledge of Microsoft server including Active Directory and email systems.

·Basic ITIL knowledge is helpful in this formal service desk environment.

·Healthcare experience is a plus.

·Basic Network troubleshooting experience.

·AWS and/or Microsoft Azure experience a plus.
