Daramic's new VP of Global Sales will report to the COO and will have direct management responsibilities for the Sales Directors responsible for North America, South America, Europe Middle East and Africa, and North East Asia. Sales leaders responsible for South East Asia and India Regions will have a dotted line reporting relationship into this position.. Responsibilities:. The Vice President of Global Sales will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth for Daramic's product portfolio through the effective execution of product management, brand and channel management strategies.. Responsible for development and implementation of Global Key Account strategies and the development and improvement of regional commercial strategies. Lead, train, develop and provide strategic direction to a team of sales professionals and leaders within Daramic.. Apply expertise to strengthen sales leaders to effectively supervise, manage, or lead their respective teams. Drive and improve metric reporting procedures and demonstrate ownership of financial metrics, targets and budgets. Understand the competitive landscape and market trends. Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition, tech, process and current partnerships. Achieve the annual sales revenue/order and gross-profit plans. Demonstrate desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture. Identify and solve customer issues strategically. Work with Marketing and Technology teams to drive sales of higher value products. Requirements. Bachelor degree with a preference for Business Administration or Engineering. Postgraduate degree preferred.. Minimum of Ten (10) or more years' experience in a sales environment with extensive travel, international and regional management experience, and diverse customer selling base.. 3 - 5 years of combined experience in strategic marketing. Experience in developing and validating product and channel strategies, defining product requirements and managing successful product commercialization in business-to-business settings.. Experienced in multi-year volume based contract negotiations, pricing and rebate structures. Ability to work well across the organization and constructively influence team objectives and outcomes.. Presentation Skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a global and remote team. Knowledge of key sales concepts, practices, and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to influence at varying levels across the organization. Demonstrated ability to operate independently. Demonstrated experiences in creating and implementation Sales Training programs and launch of sales tools.
